Scrapville's April pack using Bo Bunny's Kitchen Spice collection is definitely a beautiful pack with a dreamy colourscheme and one for those of you who love the shabby side of scrapping.
Me, well I do find that shabby is not really my thing (it's not that I don't like it, I just find it a difficult concept) but Janet did persuade me to give it a go as she really needed a sample for the pack... now how could I say no!
I dabbled in lots and lots of cutting around all the intricate flowers, took forever but well worth the effect it creates.
The Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice paper also lent itself to some paper piercing along the pattern line which I am really pleased with as it makes a stand-out feature of the background paper. Something I think I will definitely be doing more of.
Janet also threw into the pack some wonderful sewing pattern tissue which I had never used before. It is quite amazing at the different effects such a simple recycled product can achieve... I fiddled around for a bit before coming up with some rolled up flourishes which really add to the layout. I am seriously looking forward to seeing what the 'Packville" people do with their tissue patterns.
So, for those of you who would love to get your hands on this beautiful kit, pop over to Scrapville and have a look at all Janet's options.
From farm to you...
