This week Imaginisce will be focusing their attention on the stunning new 'To Love & Cherish' collection in celebration of its release into stores this month. I have been lucky enough to have a play with the product over the weekend and I must say that it has been wonderful to work with. The black and white is not only perfect on its own but when teamed with other colours it takes on a whole new and wonderful look!
I decided to go with one of my favourite colour combo's... black and yellow! I created these cards using the little Snag 'Em flower stamp which is just one of the gorgeous stamps that comes with the new collection.
Now, I haven't forgotten that I gave you a sneak peek of another project using the origami flowers, so I thought I'd better reveal the picture in full. This is a little candle centrepiece I made using the pearls, ribbon and of course the beautiful double sided papers - only problem is... which side to use? The origami flowers are a little bit fiddly to make, however, they are worth it! I have a step x step set of instructions on the Imaginisce blog which you can view HERE.
I have a few more projects to share but don't want to overload you with everything at once LOL! Personally, I just like to keep everyone in suspense! Don't forget to keep an eye on the Imaginisce blog this week to catch up with all the wonderful creations that the Design Team have been working on to celebrate 'To Love & Cherish'. I've seen a few sneak peeks and you don't want to miss some of the stunning creations!
From farm to you...
Now Melinda girl will you make me a promise? a big promise? never, ever say that you are not a cardmaker!!! these are totally stunning & would never have thought to put these two colours together, they look gorgeous. I totally, totally love that "Snag-Em" stamp. Hope & pray that they bring that stamp to the UK! Now the candle centrepiece is a big big "WOW". hi melinda, how did you create those cards using the flower stamps? or what technique did use? i love it! they are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDress to Scrap... thanks for taking a peek at my blog and leaving a comment. The cards were made by stamping in black Staz-On onto yellow card stock and then I coloured in each section with a white gel pen... bit pain-staking to do but it was the effect I was trying to create. Hope this helps :)
