Tuesday Trigger: Patchwork Hearts...

Monday, February 8, 2010

My 'silent' New Years resolution to myself was to step out of my comfort zone and try new things... with this in mind I decided to enter my very first Moxie Fab World 'Tuesday Trigger' challenge. The criteria being... to use the above picture as a trigger to create a card. Now, cards are definitely growing on me but I am still not completely at ease with making them, so I chose to take on this challenge because it seemed reasonable enough without stamping, water colours etc. Instead I used cutting, stitching, gold foil plate and machine embossing (for the first time) now that I have my very own 'texture boutique' thanks to a very dear friend. All-in-all, I am pleased with the card and proud of myself for sticking to my goal of trying all things new.
From farm to you...
