This week's assignment at Pebbles was to create some cards using the gorgeous Twitterpated or Tree House Collections and I really wanted to use the beautiful pink and yellow hues of the Twitterpated papers as Spring is in the air. And after watching my little man reading his pop-up book and marvelling at every page he turned - I decided to go with a fun and cheerful surprise inside each card. And to see more card creations from the Pebbles DT pop over to the Pebbles Blog HERE.
Pop-up cards are so simple yet surprisingly effective to create. I have used a basic technique of cutting strips into the card stock and bending each strip in the opposite direction of the natural fold of the card.
Now I've caught the pop-up bug... I think I might have to try out some new techniques, will keep you posted!
From farm to you...
