Sock Hop with Adornit - Day 2

Welcome to Day two of the Adornit blog hop and today we're kicking up our heals with a 'sock hop' from blog to blog so you can spy what we have created with the beautiful 'Vintage Groove' collection and again you could be taking home your very own set of Vintage Groove by playing along.

I was excited to recieve the 'Welcome' home decor kit in my package although I had a bit of a 'brain wave' and decided to change my little sign to say 'Love'. I still used the vinyl letters supplied with the kit but altered the 'W' to make a 'V'. Just goes to show how versatile this little wooden home decor project can be.

What can I say about Vintage Groove other than it has the most beautiful colour scheme, wonderful patterns and prints that are perfect for 'fussy cutting' which is my all time favourite technique and again the quality is superb.

 

I even managed to almost use up another packet of the Clear Stickers and again I mounted it onto a thick piece of clear acetate so that the flourishes had a dimensional appearance as they sat up above the backing board.
