It's berry delicious...

I love this time of year when the sun is shining, the weather is warm and fruit is in abundance, especially strawberries, cherries and watermelon... household staples on the farm. So, the planets were aligned when Imaginisce sent me their new Berrylicious collection!

It is the cutest new range with cartoon character fruit, gorgeous vibrant colours and heaps of spots... putting it simply... it's berrylicious! And this week Imaginisce are hosting a release party to celebrate the shipping of this gorgeous new range with give-aways so you could win your very own collection!

The farmgirl and her dog 'Lizzy' - now these two do most things together but sharing fruit wasn't one of the things I thought would happen. Since when do dogs eat fruit? However, after having watermelon juice slurped all over the bench I sent her outside and this is what I spied not five minutes after!

This is a fun little technique that I've been playing with lately because I was frustrated in not having the ability to emboss a 12" piece of cardstock. So, although it is 'way too time consuming' I love the subtle look it provides with touches of embossed circles on my background cardstock.

And finally I have given my Cricut Expression a work-out! It has been a slow process learning to incorporate the Cricut into my way of thinking when it comes to designs but alas I think I have opened the gates on what could become a happy little friendship between 'me and my machine'. And my goodness does it save me heaps of time with all the fussy cutting of grass that I used to painstakingly do into the wee small hours.

Products Used for this layout:
Imaginisce Berrylicious Collection

Imaginisce i-rock and pearl glamrocks
Provocraft Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Cricut 'Straight From the Nest' Cartridge
Cricut 'Accent Essentials' Cartridge
American Crafts 'dear Lizzy' Holly rubons
American Crafts white cardstock

So thankyou for stopping by and don't forget to pop over to the Imaginisce blog all this week to see the gorgeous creations the design team have been working on to show-case the Berrylicious range!

Here in the Maritimes in Canada, it's cold, snowy, icy and miserable right now! The only berries I have to enjoy are frozen little pellets in my freezer but hoping for warmer days soon!
Thanks for sharing your amazing work! :o)
