Firstly, I would like to say 'Happy New Year' to everyone and may you all have a safe and blessed 2012. I didn't bother making a New Year's resolution this year because 2011 threw so many curve balls that I thought I'd just go with the flow this year.
Now, my project share today is something I did for Pebbles back in October as a Mix and Match assignment. Halloween is not something that we celebrate here in Australia, however my daughter loves the entire concept and her friend just happens to celebrate her Birthday on October 31. So with this in mind I thought it might be nice to create a Halloween themed Birthday Present filled with spooky chocolates and decorated in Orange, Black and Purple. I didn't have to go too far to find this combination of colours by mixing and matching different collections from the Pebbles range. And how cool are those chocolate eyeballs? LOL!
Pebbles supplies used:
Happy Go Lucky Happy (751091)
Happy Go Lucky Cloud Nine (751090)
The Mr & Mrs Pinstripe (751101)
The Mr & Mrs Love Birds (751102)
Floral Lane With Love (751122)
Pebbles Ribbon Orange
Other supplies used:
American Crafts Thickers
American Crafts Premium Ribbon
Black flower stamens
Martha Stewart leaf punch
Chocolate eyeballs, pumpkins and spooky ghosts
Rolled flowers would have to be my all time favourite paper flower to create because they are relatively easy, take very little time and look great on any project. I've even added a few black stamens in the centres for a different effect... I rescued these from my old cake decorating days.
Well I won't go on any longer as this post is long enough already. However, I will be back tomorrow with a Christmas themed project so moving you through the holidays, one by one. LOL!
Thanks for being so patient!
