Doodlebug Bling + Challenge #2

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Halloween is just around the corner and I'm loving all the spooky little critters that are lurking on scrapbooking collections everywhere. Especially loving the Doodlebug bats and spiders... which is so bizarre because I'm not a big fan of either creature IRL.

This week's focus on the Doodlebug blog is 'bling' and all things shiny and sparkly. Now, I'm a huge fan of bling and use it on almost everything I create so I was more than happy to put my hand up for this assignment. The only difficulty was thinking of a way to use 'bling' on a Halloween project whilst incorporating my favourite little Doodle-Pop... 'Batty' (Isn't he just the cutest?). So I came up with the concept of giving Batty a few mates, that are just a tiny bit shy so remained in the dark.

The Doodlebug Sugar Coated Cardstock was perfect to use for the moon as it had just enough sparkle to tie the whole theme together.

Supply List: Monster Mania Doodle-cut; Sugar Coated Cardstock - Bumblebee; Doodle Pop - Batty; Mini Jewels - Lily White, Bumblebee; Doodles Cardstock Stickers Happy Halloween - Lily White; Candy Shoppe Mini Rubons - Lily White.
