Jillibean Soup and Maya Road...

Could it get any better? Jillibean Soup and Maya Road joining forces for a fun week of mixing and matching to create one project using both Manufacturers. To be honest, it didn't really feel like two separate companies as the products blended together beautifully. I was also lucky to recieve my first shipment as part of the Jillibean Soup design team so I had lots of new goodies to use on this layout.

My sweet country girl... she is such a grass-roots kinda kid and loves her life living on the farm surrounded by her horses, dog and cats. And ever since she could walk and talk she has dressed just like her father... country all the way.

The Maya road giant bottlecaps are a new product for me as I've never used bottlecaps on my layouts before let alone 'giant' ones. And how cute is this star shape? I decided to place my heading inside the star as it was a stand out feature on the page.

I'm so happy with my new Fiskars punch as I'm always wanting something 'horsey' to put on projects for my daughter. It will definitely be getting a good work out, especially as she spotted it and pleaded to let her use it... I said I'd think about it.

I've started making a conscious effort to hand-write my journaling on my layouts again. I was being a bit lazy for a while and using rub-ons. I'm still a little nervous doing it this way as I don't get a second chance, not unless I want to cover it up with a giant flower and start again. LOL! Perhaps I will have to type up exactly what I want to say before I start the handwriting.
