Whether you are here as part of the blog hop or just stopping by... Welcome! Today I'm playing along with the Design Team to showcase the latest Jillibean Soup release - 'Happy Camper' and I can vouch for the super cuteness of this new collection.
DESIGNED FOR | Jillibean Soup
PROJECT | ducky ducky ducky Layout
WHERE THE IDEA CAME FROM | I have always loved this photo of my two oldest kiddos and used to have it as my blog header. I have never scrapped it before but as soon as I saw the pink flamingos in the Happy Camper collection it reminded me of this photo and so it was time. I really focused on the colours in the photo and added the starburst using vellum as I didn't want it to detract from the overall layout. Simply put... I wanted it there, but only just.
Happy Camper boasts so many gorgeous patterns and colours and I can never go past woodgrain and graph paper.
Still loving sequins at the moment so had to add a little scattering here and there.
I used another of my new Heidi Swapp templates to create the starburst which I cut out from vellum and added a slight feathered look to the edges seeing as my layout was all about birds.
