Another sketch design...

Friday, May 14, 2010

I have had such a busy week and am now home with a rather sick little boy who is asleep on the couch for the time being so I thought I'd upload whilst I can.
It is sketch time again at Scrapville and I've designed another layout and card sketch to challenge the girls. If you would like to play along then pop over to the Scrapville blog for all the details.
My sample layout for the sketch is one that I have been wanting to try for ages... I have a box of 'bling/buttons/bits/bobs" that sits beside me as I scrap and it always seems to be full and used very little so I decided to have a play! I think this would have to be the first layout I've ever done without using any patterned paper.
This is one of my all time favourite pics of my son having his very first swim, poor little chap was just so relaxed and fell asleep in his Auntie's arms.
I usually hand-write my own journalling but this little circle was just too small so resorted to the trusty printer!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, weather is just beautiful here, anyone would think it was Spring and not Autumn, sun is shining and it is wonderfully warm... just wish my little man wasn't so sick as we'd spend the day outside.
From farm to you...
