'Tis the Season...

Can you believe we've reached the final month of the year and the start of Christmas already, where has the year gone? The farm will begin festivities this weekend with the arrival of our first ever 'real' tree to replace a rather shabby looking plastic tree that has graced our home for the past decade. The farms kids opened their first Advent calendar windows this morning to find a yummy treat hiding inside and were quite surprised at being allowed to eat chocolate at breakfast time... oh well, it's Christmas!
The final Imaginisce sketch challenge for 2010 is straight from the North Pole thanks to talented DT member Liz Qualman and her gorgeous Christmas mitten theme design.
My take on the sketch...
I haven't really ventured too far from Liz's original design as it was a perfect and balanced combination of photos and embellishment allowing for a hint of patterned paper and journalling, all the things I love in a sketch. Keeping with the Christmas theme I used the Imaginisce Christmas Cottage collection including one of my all time favouriteembellishments - the crystal snowflakes.
You have until December 25th to have your entries uploaded onto the Imaginisce blog to be in the running for a wonderful prize of either the complete I-top package or $75US Imaginisce products.
