Every now and again I 'down tools' on my DT work and do a little project just for fun... just for me! And as soon as I spied the Moxie Fab January/February challenge 'Grey is the New Black' I knew I had to take part. How could I not... just look at that gorgeous grey ruffled dress card on the front of the Paper Crafts magazine!
Grey is one of those colours that doesn't find its way into paper crafting as often as the more popular colours, however when it does it creates such a statement, especially when teamed with another colour. I've always had a soft spot for combining grey and baby pink so figured I'd run with it and create a simple and fun card using this duo of unlikely colours. Here's the result...
I've used my punched flower technique again, love the way this looks on projects but just wished it didn't take so long to do. The sentiment is a rub-on from American Crafts and the pink shear ribbon from Pebbles Inc.
From farm to you...
elegant and beautiful! TFS!
