Now, Valentine's Day usually comes and goes in our household without too much of a thought as it passes by. I guess it has lost it's shine over the years with all the commercialism that tends to be get caught up in the day. I'd prefer to do little things for the farmer when he least expects it!
So this year I decided the day would come and go, but not be passed by. However, I made the decision not to focus on the farmer and I but to share the love we have for our daughter who is growing way too fast and could do with a reminder that she is still our little girl.
Now, mini albums are not my forte and you could scroll through page after page of my blog and not find another, but I was determined to use the Kaisercraft wooden mini album that I thought would be ideal for this very project. Combined with the gorgeous Love theme from the Pebbles Inc 'Twitterpated' collection I hoped that producing a mini album wasn't going to be too 'traumatic' and that my daughter would have something she could cherish.
Well, who'd have thought... I actually enjoyed the process of piecing together little pages with lots of embellishments, closely cropped photos and just a hint of text... such fun! The best part... my daughter loves it!
This is just a little sneak peek of the album, which is featured in full on the Pebbles blog today!
