And so it begins...

Thursday, March 3, 2011

The arrival of March is slightly bittersweet as it means Summer has been and gone, and to be perfectly honest, we never really had a Summer this year, blah! However, on a happier note, I can now begin to share my first official work as member of the 2011 Creative Team for Scrapbooking Memories magazine (Australia). I've been looking foward to posting about my projects but the magazine asks us to wait two months after the issue before we go public... aghh the wait!

Our first assignment was to create a layout and card using Bo Bunny products and I recieved the popular 'Learning Curve' range which was a perfect colour match to our school uniform of blue and yellow.
The kids had a fun day with puppets and the pics were too cute not to scrap!

I decided to re-create the apple from my layout into a card which kept up with the school theme and I just had to take a photo with our very first apple of the season picked fresh from our orchard.

So thankyou for sharing with me and I look forward to being able to reveal some more published projects next month.

From farm to you..

I'm quite happy for summer to come to an end. We had a very hot summer in Perth this year... had a humid 39 degree on Monday. Can't wait for it to be cooler. xox

  10. First, how did you manage to find paper to match your apples so perfectly? Love the card and the LO is awesome, as all your LOs always are! The paper coils and the colours are perfect.
We are impatiently waiting for spring's arrival here on the East Coast of Canada as you are preparing for winter's chill.
