I created this layout using the new Fern and Forest Boy collection from Little Yellow Bicycle and played around with a simple concept of matting small rectangles of patterned paper behind the photo. I added hints of whimy with the grass, trees, critters and clouds whilst hiding a small tag of journaling behind the photo.
How sweet is this little tree from the Naturals collection. I love the texture it adds to the layout.
I decided to add the Fresh Verse stickers in a slightly eclectic way by layering them vertically on the page and finishing the layout with a few stars, a touch of stitching and a splash of white mist.

ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous layout. Melinda, for me your signature style will always be the detail you put into your background and the clean and uncluttered look you manage to get. Love the grass and the critter below the photo...and even the white splatters seem to be perfectly placed.
